In the present study, we have determined whether major elements of the Shh signaling pathway are present in the adult mouse epididymis at the gene and protein level.Adult male mice (C57Bl/6) were obtained from university vivarium sources and maintained on a 12‐hour light:12‐hour dark cycle with ad libitum food and water.Unilateral efferent duct ligation (EDL) was performed on adult male mice in a conventional manner as described previously for the rat (Tissues were collected for morphological evaluation at 0 (control), 6, 12, 24, 48, 72, and 720 hours after EDL.
