The basdrum where much to loud.I would’ev liked the show to be a bit longer and that thet talked to us more.When i go to a show I pay extra for a live performance. I’m convinced that they can play literally any song in their catalog as this show had a ton of deep cuts. He showed us how it was done last night, even got an up close (meaning he was standing 3' from us) solo from the crowd during Warpigs.Then Clutch comes like the powerhouse that they are and blew the roof off the place. They can tear up the place with their heavy metal music, or they can get you hooked on their funky-blues style.
Rock and FUCKIN’ roll!! Ive seen them with CLUTCH several times and they get better every time. Lionize played a great show, too, but out of the woodwork came Kingsnake, a local Philly band that blew me away. The amphitheater offers great views of the show from any seat position. It was very organized and the line was quickly vetted. Hey but who am I to criticize. The Philly based group absolutely killed it. I couldn’t hear the words. Closer seats are still better and with a general admission section reserved in the first 25 rows you definitely get rewarded with a great seat if you show up earlier.The show opened with The Wexford School of Rock kids who were fantastic.
My only complaint was the sound could have been a little more dialed in.THE quintessential rock band delivered like inly they do.Kingsnake was a bew band for me, but I am not sure why. Clutch 2020-21 tour dates, event details + much more. Maybe later, after a few they would have sounded a bit better? However, the guitarist and bassist behaved in a way that made me feel they were just stand in studio musicians that were brought on tour out of necessity. And the drums where also bad mixed. They were made for live performances and their skill in making a room bounce is unparalleled. The crowd loved them as always. Surprise guest band Valkyrie...that was a bonus! Clutch is the best live band out there. Highly recommend them to anyone. Clutch’s setlist is long and diverse. After a while few in the crowd tested it and found the venue accepted level of tolerated activity and the crowd AND band heated up a bit.It was nice to see Clutch crush such a good show in spite of the limits on the energy they were getting from the crowd.The only other thing that bummed me out was that it seemed just short of full blown mayhem.

It turned out the 'Viagogo' had added £10 on top of each ticket and then added approx £26 booking fee. A great mix of new and old (remember 'Old' is reletive! Met some great people.
Clutch are a hard rocking five-piece from Maryland, US, blending Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin guitar riffs with funk grooves and Faith No More influenced vocals. Lionize were tight and powerful. It was great to see them as the headliner as they played stuff that I haven't heard them play before when they were the support group. Bogart’s was packed to the gills and I couldn’t get to the front as I usually do for these guys. Their music appeals to all types of rock and metal fans, and it is all well comprised. I have been so stoked since the day I bought tickets two months ago! The band members are Neil Fallon, Jean-Paul Gaster, Tim Sult and Dan Maines. parking was close and simple. :)Clutch was amazing as always. And of course CLUTCH...Ive seen them more times than i can count and i have never seen an off night.
